Our Current Projects
We are raising funds for our Christmas party on 2 December. We want to give each child a jean, t-shirt and sandals,
as well as a "shoebox" filled with toiletries. The small children of grades 1 - 3 will receive a teddy girls) and a car (boys) with their clothes- should we be able to raise enough funds. It will cost us approximately R15000 for this. Food, juice and sweets will also be given to them, with a budget of R65 per child, which will include a burger and chips, cold drink and sweets.

Place Of Safety For Abused and abandoned babies
We have applied by die Department of Social services for a house where we could accommodate abused and abandoned babies from the age of 0 to 1 year, or as long as they need to. This will be similar to Ubuntu house in Cape Town and Pretoria.
School clothes 2013
We are again busy to raise funds for school clothes for 2013. All the children received their summer and winter school clothes. The Harley Davidson bikers club of Mosselbay bought winter jackets for all of them, and shoes for those who needed it.

Spring day
We are taking the 100 children to the Dias Museum on a sponsored guided tour on 7 September 2012. The children will be allowed to climb in the Bartholomeus Dias ship - a complete replica of the original ship - which sailed all the way from Portugal to Mosselbay. Afterwards we will have a picnic on the grass outside the museum.
We will also take the Top 20 children to Knysna Elephant Park on 3 November. We are also going to give the best academic student a ride on an elephant back. Every year it is a different venue. According to Mr Prinsloo, Vice-principal, it motivates the kids to do well. On 6 December we will also, once again, take these kids on their Christmas outing. We need gitfs! Last year we were able to give each child a brand new gift, made possible by various donation.
